Vintage trench coat sizing can be unusual, as it is not standardized like today's sizing. For example, two trench coats of the same size may fit an international S or M. Don't rely solely on the size on the label, but rather on the **body** measurement of your coat.

To determine which size will fit you, measure the width of one of your coats, from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, and refer to the chart below.



If your chest is larger than a C cup, consider going up a size.

Also note that the sleeve length of vintage trench coats is generally shorter than that of current models, often with a 7/8 cut (above the wrist).
